The mayor of Dol asked us to perform at the town's celebration of the 90th anniversary of their beekeeping association... "Something with bees, please".
So in a week we put together a Grandpa Jake Insects Galore story that ended with the song "Little Creatures are Everywhere".
And there you have it.

The band gets witnessed to. Check that hair. The blond one is the drummer. His dad got our singing brochure from him (that's it real tiny there in that guy's hand) and came by later to check us out. His father prayed with us and flipped out saying that he had always wanted to be baptised and this was it:))

Dan za Prostovoljstvo. This was really cool. It's Ljubljana's annual day of volunteers. We had a stand in the center of LJ to present our association, along with more than 80 other volunteer organisations. We had a blast witnessing and got to meet a few VIPs including the mayor of Ljubljana and the ones below.

Meeting Slovenia's first lady! The gentleman is a member of the EU parliament and the father of a young man I taught for some time at a rehabilitation center. He was touring the festival as a VIP and visited us at our stand. When the lady passed by, he took care to give us a lovely introduction to Mrs. Barbara Turk, the wife of Slovenia's president Danilo Turk.
This was a really special surprise for me.
